Embedded Hardware Engineer @ Corporate Steps

Job Description

Responsibilities: Design and develop embedded hardware systems for various applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications. Prototype, test, and debug embedded systems to ensure functionality and performance. Select appropriate components and technologies for hardware implementations. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for hardware designs. Document hardware designs, specifications, and test procedures. Work closely with software engineers to integrate hardware and software components. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development. Experience working in startup environments is highly desired. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle). Strong. understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles. Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded systems architectures. Experience with Ethernet networking protocols and interfaces is mandatory. Knowledge of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, etc. Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
