Job Description
Job Role: ETL/BI Testing + Tableau testing
Location: Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days WFO per week)
Experience: 5 to 8 years - (Senior/Lead)
Skill: ETL Testing, BI Testing, tableau, SQL
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Reporting Tester to ensure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of Tableau dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BI testing, data validation, and SQL, along with hands-on experience in Tableau reporting environments.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for Tableau reports.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand reporting requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity across multiple data sources and ETL processes.
- Conduct UI testing for embedded Tableau views in web applications.
- Perform SQL-based data verification and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Document test results, defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data visualization best practices and organizational standards.
- Support UAT and assist in deployment across environments.
Qualification:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in BI testing and reporting validation.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and identify data quality issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
