Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for PeopleSoft applications (HCM, FSCM, CRM, etc.).
- Automate test cases for PeopleSoft UI, workflows, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for web-based PeopleSoft modules.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Execute test cycles and analyze results, reporting defects with proper documentation.
- Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to integrate automated tests.
- Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
- Ensure test coverage for PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and customizations.
- Identify test automation opportunities and improve existing frameworks.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous delivery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 59 years of experience in QA Testing and Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python) or
- Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript/Python)
- Experience in testing PeopleSoft applications (HCM/FSCM/CRM).
- Good understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, components, and workflows.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, etc.).
- Experience with REST/SOAP API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, or PeopleCode basics.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Familiarity with service virtualization and mocking tools.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Shell/Python.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
