Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and frameworks on Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with EHR/EMR data and deep domain knowledge of US Healthcare (provider space) to build robust data solutions that support clinical and operational use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and frameworks using Azure Data Lake Gen2.
- ETL/ELT Workflows: Implement robust workflows leveraging Databricks and orchestrate jobs with Apache Airflow.
- Data Modelling: Apply advanced dimensional modelling techniques to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Deployment: Deploy solutions using CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration of data engineering solutions.
- Quality & Reliability: Ensure high data quality and system reliability through automated testing, deployment, and monitoring practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into scalable engineering solutions.
- Healthcare Focus: Leverage domain expertise in US Healthcare provider space to design data solutions aligned with clinical and operational needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Python.
- Expertise in Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure Data Lake Gen2, CI/CD pipelines).
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT workflows and orchestration tools (Apache Airflow).
- Experience working with EHR/EMR data in healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of US Healthcare domain, particularly provider workflows and data standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for data pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools for data reliability and performance.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
