Cloud Automation Engineer (AI Enablement) @ Teamlease Digital

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience required.
• 610+ years in cloud automation/DevOps/IaC with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and GitHub. Experience integrating AI/ML into automation workflows.
• Handson with policy-as-code, secrets/key management, CI/CD pipelines, FinOps frameworks (tagging, budgets/alerts, show back/chargeback), and cost optimization.
• Experience building AI enabled automations: LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, vector databases, and secure enterprise data integration.
• Proven track record leading POCs/pilots, establishing observability/SLOs (including AI services), and delivering reusable automation templates at enterprise scale.

Preferred candidate profile

• IaC: Terraform modules, state/backends, workspaces; policy-as-code (e.g., OPA/Conftest), drift/compliance detection.
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions pipelines, environments, approvals/gates; artifacts, versioning, branching/PR/testing strategies; AI copilots embedded for code/pipeline quality.
• Configuration management: Ansible roles/playbooks/collections; inventories and vaults; idempotent provisioning and day2 configuration with agentic automation.
• Cloud platforms: Azure compute, network, storage; ARM/Bicep familiarity; identity (Entra ID) and RBAC integration.
• Security/compliance-by-design: Secrets management (Key Vault/GitHub Secrets), least privilege/RBAC, audit ready pipelines and change controls; secure model/inference endpoints.
• FinOps: cost tagging standards, budgets/alerts, unit economics, show back/chargeback dashboards; AI driven cost insights and recommendations.
• Observability: Telemetry for deployments and AI inference, error budgets/SLO dashboards, change validation gates, compliance reporting.
• AI/ML & Intelligent Automation (Preferred Skills):
