Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent.
610+ years in FinOps or cloud engineering with strong cost governance responsibilities.
Experience with chargeback/showback, cost modeling, cloud cost forecasting, budget/alerting frameworks, and optimization actions.
Hands-on with Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth/Apptio Cloudability, Power BI, or equivalent.
Experience using ML models for anomaly detection and predictive forecasting, and AI-driven automation for remediation workflows.
Proven track record leading FinOps tooling integrations, KPI design, and cross-functional financial governance.

Preferred candidate profile

FinOps frameworks: enterprise cost governance, unit economics, showback/chargeback, budget controls, anomaly detection, and optimization playbooks.

• Tools: Azure Cost Management, Budgets, Advisor; CloudHealth/Apptio Cloudability; Power BI; AI/ML telemetry platforms.
• Integration/automation: policy-as-code, tagging enforcement, event-driven alerts, CI/CD cost checks, IaC cost governance.
• Cloud cost modeling: compute/storage/network unit economics, reservations/savings plans, storage tiering, egress modeling, hybrid cost models.
• AI-enabled FinOps: ML-based anomaly detection, predictive forecasting, generative AI for financial insights, agent-led remediation workflows.
• frictionless infrastructure modernization-aligned financial governance: KPI automation, cost-to-value mapping, modernization cost baselines, and optimization tracking toward frictionless infrastructure modernization outcomes.
