Job Description
We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer with APEX expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing database-driven applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design efficient and scalable solutions while ensuring data integrity and application performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development:
- Design and develop web-based applications using Oracle APEX.
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Performance Tuning:
- Monitor and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database performance.
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks in APEX applications.
- Maintenance & Support:
- Troubleshoot issues related to PL/SQL code, APEX applications, and data inconsistencies.
- Provide ongoing support for deployed APEX applications and database systems.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
- Strong experience in Oracle APEX (versions 19.x and above preferred).
- Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries, views, and materialized views.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs as used in APEX.
- Experience with Oracle database architecture, including indexes, partitions, and performance tuning.
- Problem Solving:
- Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve complex database and application issues.
- Tools & Technologies:
- Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle Forms/Reports.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Communication:
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Oracle Cloud APEX or other cloud environments.
- Oracle Database or APEX certification is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
