Job Description
Application Developer with Python, SQL and VQL/Azure Data Engineer - Databricks
Experience : 5+yrs
Shifts: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST.
Work Location : Pune
Consulting
Developing data pipelines in Databricks and Denodo to build out a clients Data Lakehouse
Design and develops technical solutions to problems of moderate to high complexity, with guidance from senior stakeholders.
Contributes to definition of customers overall IT architecture
Welcomes coaching and guidance from peers with more experience, seeking advice when uncertain.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and diplomacy in dealings with clients and peers.
Provides input to technical proposals to be commercially acceptable to the customer and may make recommendations of solution/service trade-offs to more senior stakeholders.
Discuss and resolve proficient business and technology issues with clients as required.
Study and remain up to date with relevant technological change and obtain certifications in skills used within the Fujitsu AI & Data team as agreed with your mentor.
Ensures the timely delivery of assignment deliverables within the agreed budget and to quality standards.
Alert to opportunities for follow-on business, and communicates identified new business opportunities for Fujitsu.

- Can evidence delivering assigned tasks on time, and to an appropriate level of quality.
- Can evidence effective, performant and compliant solution designs to medium to high complexity business requirements
- Effectively communicates with colleagues and key customer stakeholders on assigned projects
- Can evidence regular contributions to Fujitsu AI & Data guilds and account teams.
- Adhers to:
- oTime sheeting completed within timeframe;
- oUse un-allocated time to pursue certifications relevant to skills and job assignments;
- oAssumes responsibility for creating and driving self- development plan, seeking input and advice from mentor.
- Comply with reasonable work requests from assigned managers or leaders.
- Attend client sites and Fujitsu office as directed by assigned managers or leaders.
- Attends Mentor-aligned sessions, having prepared for discussion.

- SQL and Python Development
Mandatory Experience
- Strong SQL and/or Python and/or VQL for Denodo
- Excellent stakeholder management ability
- Understanding of Agile
- Understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts
- Datalake/ Lakehouse experience
- Experienced consulting skills
Desired Experience & Knowledge / Other Relevant Information
- Databricks or Spark experience desirable Python desirable but not essential Semantic or Dimensional Modelling
