Job Description
- This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business requirements.
- Architect and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in Power BI solutions, implementing best practices for data governance and compliance.
- Oversee integration of Power BI with various data sources, including SQL databases, and other enterprise systems.
- Optimize Power BI performance through efficient DAX queries, data modeling, and report design.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Microsoft Power BI.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
- Strong expertise in SQL and experience with relational and cloud-based databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake).
- Proven experience leading BI projects and mentoring team members.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Microsoft Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are highly desirable. Preferred Skills
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices for BI development.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics, machine learning integration, or real-time data streaming in Power BI.
