Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Crystal Reports Developer with extensive experience in the banking domain to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing and developing reports using SAP Crystal Reports, along with proficiency in SQL Server Database. Experience with Snowflake is a plus. The candidate should be capable of working independently and collaboratively with business stakeholders to create efficient and insightful reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports based on business requirements.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather report specifications and translate them into functional reports.
- Optimize and enhance existing reports for performance, accuracy, and usability.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in SQL Server.
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation between different banking systems.
- Provide troubleshooting and debugging support for reports and database queries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reporting solutions with existing banking applications.
- Document report development processes and ensure best practices are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Crystal Reports development.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server Database development including writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Experience working in the Banking/Financial domain is a must.
- Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases, and reporting best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of reports and database queries.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or other BI tools is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Banking regulatory reporting experience is a plus.
