Job Details
Position: Lead Engineer
Experience Required : 5 - 10 years
Location: Bangalore
Notice : Immediately or 1 month
Tools and Skill required : SolidWorks , Plastics Component Design and Development
Knowledge:
- Experience in NPD (New product design and development of Plastic Component) - Concept Creation, Detail Design, Modelling & Drawing using CAD tool (Solidworks).
- Knowledge of Manufacturing process (Plastics and Sheet metal).
- Knowledge of DFM & DFX for plastic parts.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM tools and BOMs & item master theory.
- Knowledge of Cross-cultural communications.
- Good abilities of Coordination activities.
- Knowledge of Drafting and modelling and assembly in Solidworks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create drawings, 3D models of Plastic / Sheet metal components using SolidWorks and update designs per mark-ups.
- Work with global teams to design and create drawings for sub systems / systems of components.
