Job Description
Job Title: Marine Structural Design Engineer
Location: Noida
Experience: 7 to 11 years
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Structure Design Engineer with a strong background in civil and marine engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis and design of marine and coastal structures, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design of marine structures such as piled jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, berthing structures, and utility structures.
- Develop STAAD Pro models and other structural analysis tools for design validation.
- Prepare design reports, drawings, and technical documentation in coordination with drafting teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies, concept design, and detailed design for marine infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (American, British, Euro, and Indian).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution and client deliverables.
- Perform structural adequacy checks and retrofitting design for existing marine structures.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of RCC and Steel Structures in marine environments.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and related structural design software.
- Familiarity with marine engineering principles, geotechnical considerations, and coastal dynamics.
- Experience in projects involving ports, harbors, shipyards, offshore structures, and utility structures.
- Ability to interpret and apply international design codes (IS, BS, Eurocode, ACI, AISC).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters in Offshore/Marine Structures preferred.
- 7 to 11 years of relevant experience in marine structural design.
