Job Description
Job Title: Structural Design Engineer ( Commercial & Resedential Buildings)
Location: Pune
Experience: 4 to 7 years
Employment Type: Permanant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for commercial and residential buildings, ensuring safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs and detailed drawings for commercial and residential projects.
- Perform structural analysis and load calculations, including dead load, live load, wind load, and seismic load as per IS codes and relevant standards.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, local building regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare design documentation, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
- Optimize designs for durability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Structural Engineering preferred).
- 4 to 7 years of experience in structural design for commercial and residential buildings.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of IS codes and building standards, including IS 875 (Wind Loads) and IS 1893 (Seismic Loads).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-rise building design.
- Knowledge of international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with BIM tools like Revit.
