Job Title: Structural Design Engineer- Water Projects

Location: Mumbai
Experience: 7 to 11 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer for water infrastructure projects, specifically Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP). The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for water-related facilities such as clarifiers, sedimentation tanks, aeration tanks, pump houses, pipe racks, and supporting structures.
• Prepare design calculations, STAAD Pro models, and detailed drawings for RCC and steel structures.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, ACI, Eurocode, and other international standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution and client deliverables.
• Conduct structural adequacy checks and provide solutions for retrofitting or strengthening existing structures.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and design documentation.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of RCC and Steel Structures in water infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and other structural design tools.
• Familiarity with hydraulic structures, load combinations, and geotechnical considerations for water projects.
• Ability to interpret and apply international and Indian design codes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 7-11years of relevant experience in structural design for WTP/STP projects.
