Job Description
We are hiring for a skilled Facility Manager for a leading group of company in Ghana.
Required a B.E Civil Engineer with experience working into Facility and Asset Management, Project Coordination and Supervision, Vetting and Approval of Designs & Quotations, etc..
Location: Ghana
Principal Responsibility:
Facility and Asset Management:
- Take responsibility for the companys existing facilities, including preventive maintenance, regular inspections, and emergency repairs.
- Collaborate with the Facility Management team to optimize asset usage, energy efficiency, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of all assets.
Project Coordination and Supervision:
- Lead and coordinate the construction of new factory sheds and any facility-related infrastructure improvements.
- Liaise with consultants and contractors to review designs, ensure feasibility, and approve quotations for new construction or renovation projects.
- Ensure that project designs meet business requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Manage site activities, monitor contractor performance, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
Vetting and Approval of Designs & Quotations:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand the project requirements and provide technical input for design and construction processes.
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of design plans and ensure they align with company needs.
- Analyze and vet contractor quotations and make recommendations based on budget, quality, and timelines.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain effective communication between internal teams, external consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all parties are aligned with project objectives and deadlines.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of ongoing projects, risks, and achievements.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all projects and activities comply with local building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Enforce safety practices on site and ensure all workers and contractors follow proper safety protocols.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar design and project management software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction materials, and structural integrity.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems is a plus.

Minimum Service Period: 24 months
Leave: 30 days post completion of 12 months.
