Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Design:

• Areas of expertise include aerospace primary and secondary structure design, payloads design and system support design
• Must have good knowledge in Catia V5 (Workbench Part Design, Assembly Design, Sheetmetal, Generative Shape Design (GSD)) with experience on 3D Modelling.
• Must have good knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) and understanding of Engineering drawings in both 2D/Model Based Definition (MBD)
• Must be able to coordinate and communicate with the team members

Automation:

• Working knowledge of manipulating solid body part parameter in Part Design workbench
• Knowledge of hybrid Body, hybrid Shapes, hybrid Shape Factory etc
• Working knowledge of creation and editing of geometrical elements
• Ability to code to work with annotations set
• Working knowledge of manipulation of CAT drawing views, tables
• Ability to interface CATIA and excel to extract data or read data

Preferred candidate profile:

• Must have expertise in CAD tools like Catia V5 (Workbench Part Design, Assembly Design, GSD, CPD, FTA)
• Must have expertise in languages like VBA, VB.NET which blends with CATIA
• Must have experience/understanding in aerospace structures design, CATIA tree structure, relational modelling, etc.
