 SW Support Analyst

Job Description

  • As a member of the Managed services team, you will be fulfilling a Support Analyst role
  • Working closely with senior Global managed services team members and interacting with customer project BAU teams daily
Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident management- most of your day-to-day activities focus on managing live issues and RCA.
  • Led root cause analysis/investigations and raised defects where necessary.
  • Work in coordination with L2 L4 teams
  • Ongoing updates on open issues
  • Reporting efforts and generating weekly/monthly reports where needed

Qualifications Experience:

  • 3+ years in a similar technical support role
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Advanced experience in SQL (select, update, insert, joins, delete) to obtain data/running fixes and identify data-related issues (missing data, failing jobs, misdeveloped stored procedures, etc)
  • Thorough knowledge of- XMLs (reading, comprehension and writing), event logs, and opening log files
  • Experienced in Windows-based OS (admin/user perspective), including all office apps (mainly Excel, word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience in scripting (batch, VB, PowerShell), common Retail SW architectures, Retail terminology and Web services.
  • Capable of articulating known issues via knowledge articles for future L2/L3 use
  • Strong ability to follow issues through logs, identifying new/known issues and logging bugs to L4
  • Advantage- usage of Visual Studio (TFS) as a support/PM/SME type user and Remedy implementations
