Job Description

Job Title: Plant Road Structural Design Engineer (Roads, Drainage & Underground Services)

Experience: 4 to 10 Years

Location: Navi Mumbai & Pune

Industry: Oil & Gas, Chemical ,Industrial Plant, Plant Infrastructure & Process Plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Road Design:
  
• Design and detailing of rigid and flexible pavements for concrete and bituminous roads.
• Prepare engineering layouts, cross-sections, and specifications for roads within industrial and process plant settings.
• Plot Plan Development:
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop plot plans for process plants, ensuring optimal layouts for operational efficiency.
• Drainage and Underground Services:
  
• Design and layout of stormwater drains, sewerage systems, and other underground utilities.
• Perform hydraulic analysis and calculations to ensure effective drainage solutions.
• Underground Utilities Design:
  
• Develop detailed layouts for underground pipelines and services, adhering to relevant codes and standards.
• Technical Documentation:
  
• Prepare design reports, technical specifications, and construction drawings.
• Review and approve vendor and contractor submissions to ensure compliance with design intent.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in road and pavement design, including rigid (concrete) and flexible (bituminous) pavements.
• Knowledge of drainage systems design and hydraulic modeling.
• Expertise in underground services layouts, including utilities and pipeline networks.
• Hands-on experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, or equivalent.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional certification in road or drainage design will be an advantage.
