About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to safeguard enterprise systems, applications, data, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident handling, and secure configurations across servers, networks, and cloud environments.
Job Location: Mumbai-BKC
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and administer security solutions to protect enterprise applications, systems, and data from cyber threats.
- Identify issues and potential enhancements in security tools, work closely with vendors and internal teams for resolution and optimization.
- Support vulnerability scanning activities using security tools, track, verify, and drive remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure adherence to security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Provide technical expertise for investigating and resolving security incidents and breaches.
- Define and recommend security controls for secure configuration of servers, firewalls, databases, and applications.
- Support GRC activities and assist in vendor security assessments using questionnaires and checklists.
- Stay updated with emerging security threats, trends, tools, and technologies to strengthen the organizations security posture.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN, Firewalls).
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, DLP, BAS, IDS/IPS tools.
- Understanding of malware types, attack vectors, and threat actors.
- Knowledge of Proxy, ZTNA/VPN, PAM, WAF, Deception technologies.
- Understanding of security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, CSCRF, CIS Controls.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment or penetration testing.
- Strong understanding of security concepts and principles.
