Job Description
Industry: IT Services / System Integration / Managed Security Services About the Role
We are looking for a Head Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE) to build and scale a next-generation cybersecurity practice covering SOC, SIEM, SOAR, MDR, EDR, VAPT, and AI-driven threat intelligence. This role will lead the organizations cybersecurity strategy with a strong focus on automation-first security operations, AI-enabled detection and response, and scalable managed security services for enterprise and regulated customers. The role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, automation, and delivery governance in a system integrator / managed services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE) across SOC and managed security services
- Define cybersecurity standards, service catalogues, reference architectures, SOPs, and runbooks
- Drive SOC modernization with: o AI-enabled threat detection and correlation o Automated incident triage and response o False-positive reduction and predictive analytics
- Lead AI-driven Threat Intelligence initiatives including: o Threat data aggregation and enrichment o Behavioral analytics and anomaly detection o Integration with SIEM, SOAR, and MDR platforms
- Design and implement security automation and orchestration: o SOAR workflows and playbooks o Automated containment and remediation o Self-healing security controls
- Act as solution architect for cybersecurity RFPs, proposals, and large deals
- Provide technical oversight for SOC, MDR, EDR, and VAPT delivery engagements
- Drive continuous improvement through AIOps-aligned security operations
- Build and mentor cybersecurity architects, SOC leads, and analysts
- Manage cybersecurity OEMs, tools, and partner ecosystems Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience in: o SIEM (log onboarding, correlation, use-case engineering) o SOAR (automation workflows and orchestration) o SOC Operations (L1L3, incident response, threat hunting) o MDR / XDR / EDR o VAPT (network, web, application, cloud)
- Experience in: o AI-based threat intelligence and analytics o Security automation and response playbooks o AIOps-driven monitoring and incident management
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK
- Understanding of cloud security (AWS / Azure) is preferred
- Experience in IT services / SI / MSSP environments preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 1015 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or managed security services
- Proven experience in: o Building or scaling cybersecurity practices or SOCs o Client-facing solution architecture and advisory roles o Leading automation-driven security programs
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Cybersecurity certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) Who Should Apply
