Job Title: AEM Front-End Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled AEM Front-End Developer to build, customize, and maintain engaging digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will work closely with UX designers, backend developers, and content authors to deliver responsive, high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components in AEM using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build reusable templates and components using AEM frameworks like:
• HTL (Sightly)
• Editable Templates
• Core Components
• Collaborate with backend developers for integration with Java-based AEM services
• Ensure responsive design across devices and browsers
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO
• Work with design systems and translate UI/UX designs into functional components
• Debug and troubleshoot UI issues in AEM environments
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
• HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS preferred)
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service)
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue is a plus)
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with responsive frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AEM with third-party tools and APIs
• Knowledge of Webpack, Babel, or similar build tools
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Basic understanding of Java/JCR repository structure
• Exposure to AEM Dispatcher and caching strategies

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
