Job Description
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements. Conduct variance analysis to explain budget deviations.
- General Ledger & Reconciliations: Manage general ledgers, reconcile bank accounts, and reconcile accounts payable/receivable sub-ledgers.
- Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations. Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
- Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead the closing process, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary audit schedules.
- Supervision: Provide training, coaching, and direction to junior accountants and bookkeepers.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements in accounting systems.
