Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the hospital billing department to ensure efficient and accurate billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital billing regulations and standards.
- Monitor and analyze hospital billing edits/rejections to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor billing staff to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing procedures and resolve any issues.
- Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities and performance metrics.
Preferred candidate profile
- Any bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in hospital billing in the US healthcare system.
- Proven experience as a Hospital Billing Deputy Manager/ Manager in US Healthcare
- In-depth knowledge of hospital billing procedures, codes, and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
