Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Tester to join our team
- The ETL Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within the data warehouse environment
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SQL, ETL processes, experience with testing large datasets, JSON files, Data from Unstructured DB and the ability to work closely with development and business intelligence teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding business requirements and ETL specifications to develop test plans and test cases.
- Executing test cases to ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data from source systems to the data warehouse.
- Verifying data integrity and accuracy throughout the ETL process.
- Identifying and reporting data quality issues and working with the development team to address them.
- Collaborating with business analysts, ETL developers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to provide testing insights and contribute to process improvements.
- Documenting test results, issues, and resolution steps for future reference.
Qualifications:
- bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ETL testing, preferably in the Healthcare domain.
- Familiarity with Cloud DBs (Bigquery/Snowflake).
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and verification.
- Experience in validating the data in JSON files, Unstructured DBs
- Strong knowledge in Python, QA Automation frameworks
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Understanding of Healthcare industry processes, data models, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
