Position Title: Associate/ Senior Associate
Role Description: This role is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and self-starter individuals to join a high caliber team in shaping and scaling the financial operations business. This is an opportunity to work with well-known US financial advisor and leading portfolio managers.
Role and responsibilities:
- Prepare regular and time-sensitive portfolio performance Reports for institutional clients holding varied asset classes on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Reconcile cash positions and liaise with upstream team to resolve breaks.
- Ensure seamless and timely delivery of client reports on a monthly/quarterly basis as per agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with Onshore SMEs/Portfolio Managers for data needs.
- Build strong client relationships through good understanding of business needs and opportunity areas. Setup wire transfers for cash funding obligations (e.g. capital calls and other cash movements)
- Prepare complete and accurate investment documentation for client execution (e.g. alternative investment legal documents, brokerage applications)
- Liaise directly with custodians, fund administrators and other providers to ensure client investments are implemented accurately, efficiently, and on a timely basis
- Support the operational management of multi-asset class pooled vehicles by preparing trade instructions and documentation for investment execution
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1 year to 3 years of operational experience in financial services Industry.
- Hands on experience in Public/ Private Equity, Capital Markets, performance reporting is a must.
- Understanding of end to end client reporting ecosystem in the private equity industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Wealth management ecosystem is a plus.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to shift seamlessly between multiple projects.
- Full Time bachelors degree in accounting/finance. Masters degree will be of added advantage.
