Job Description

Skills required:

Java Backend Developer with 5+ yrs of experience.

Must have:

• Individual contributors who are capable to own requirement/change request and deliver the solution without needing handholding, with track record of building high quality software with design-focused and test-driven approaches
• A proven foundation in core Java 8 or higher (concepts like Callable, Runnable, Collections, HashMap, TreeSet, and Immutability, Iterators, Transient Variables, Multi-threading and Concurrency etc).
• Strong knowledge of Open-Source technology stack (Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit, etc.).
• Experience with relational database and/or NoSQL Database (e.g., Apache Cassandra)
• Well versed with CI/CD pipelines in ADO
• Well verse with Agile methodologies and be able to follow Agile guidelines from the team without failure.

Nice to have

• Kafka distributed messaging or similar 
• Experience in Microservices and APIs
