Performance Testing Engineer (Standard) @ Infogain

Core Skills

Role Objective:

Execute performance tests and support analysis across front-end, middle-layer APIs, batch jobs, and database performance validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute performance test scripts for:

  • Web & mobile front-end transactions

  • APIs and backend services

  • Batch jobs and background processes

• Execute load, stress, spike, and soak tests

• Collect and analyze performance metrics from application, database, and infrastructure

• Assist in bottleneck identification and tuning validation

• Maintain test data and test execution reports

• Support re-validation after fixes and tuning

Key Skills:

• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter /K6)

• Good understanding of HTTP, APIs, and distributed systems

• Basic to intermediate database performance skills (SQL, joins, indexing)

• Exposure to Linux, logs, and monitoring tools

• BFSI / Mutual Fund domain exposure is a plus
