Job Description

Open and maintain shareholder registers
Process trades: subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches
Support day-to-day reporting activities, including fund static data setup and maintenance.
Reconciliation of such processes like cash, banking details

Role Snapshot
Cash Processing/Funds Transfer
Location: Chennai (Global Payments team)
Scope: Processing wires, quality checks, escalations, MIS reporting, SOP updates and end-of-day controls

Key Skill Sets

Technical / Functional Payments Expertise
Deep knowledge of payment products and the full payment life cycle
Ability to read and interpret MT/MX SWIFT messages
Familiarity with global market regulations and their operational impact
Hands-on experience in Cash Operations (end-to-end)
Root-cause error analysis and solution design to minimize financial risk

Systems & Data Reporting
Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint and Word
Exposure to cash-application platforms
Strong capability to prepare and publish MIS/error-analysis/productivity reports
Solid presentation skills

Professional & Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication; strict email/meeting etiquette
Strong interpersonal skills ability to handle client escalations and collaborate across teams
Analytical mindset for process improvement and timely issue escalation
Change-management experience

Operational & Leadership Competencies
Effective work allocation, capacity planning and backup-planning

Education & Experience
Bachelors degree (Commerce preferred); post-grad in Finance a plus
