About the Role
This role supports Loan Syndication, Reconciliation, and CDO/CLO processes within a global operations environment. You will handle complex loan transactions, perform reconciliations, and support client servicing with accuracy, analytical strength, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end Loan Syndication activities including drawdowns, paydowns, conversions, rollovers, interest, and fee processing.
- Review and validate agent notices, loan documents, and transactional instructions for accuracy.
- Perform cash and position reconciliations, investigate breaks, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support operational tasks related to CDO/CLO & DCO structures with accurate booking and system updates.
- Handle daily client processing tasks, including STP/manual processing, exception handling, and account maintenance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal/external clients; manage queries and support complex issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Collaborate with technology and cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and strengthen risk control frameworks.
- Guide junior team members and support escalations as needed.
- Maintain high accuracy, quality, and timely completion of work.
Required Skills & Experience
- 13 years of experience in Loan Operations, Loan Syndication, Reconciliation, Client Processing, or related capital markets functions.
- Strong understanding of:
- Loan Syndication (cash & position reconciliation)
- Bonds & Equity basics
- DCO, CLO/CDO structures
- Loan Syndication experience is preferred (NEW UPDATE).
- Brokerage processing experience is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of capital markets and custody operations.
- Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving and time management.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
