Job Description
1.Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or other channels.
2.Basic troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
3.Incident logging: Log every support request and activity in a ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
4.User support: Assist with tasks like password resets, software installation, and connecting to video conferencing applications.
5.Escalation: Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate L2 or L3 support teams, providing all necessary documentation.
Knowledge base maintenance: Document solutions to common issues and update internal knowledge bases.
Proactive communication: Keep users and management informed about downtimes and the status of their issues.
Asset management: Manage and maintain hardware and software assets.
Customer service: Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with users.
Problem-solving: Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and identify solutions quickly.
Technical knowledge: Foundational knowledge of common hardware, software applications, and operating systems.
Helpdesk tools: Proficiency with ticketing systems and other helpdesk software.
