Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead our Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in SIEM platforms (ELK or Splunk), and a proven track record in managing security operations, incident response, and threat detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SOC operations, ensuring 24x7 monitoring and incident response.
- Oversee threat detection, analysis, and escalation processes to maintain security posture.
- Implement and optimize SIEM solutions (ELK or Splunk) for log management, correlation, and alerting.
- Develop and enforce SOC policies, procedures, and KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders during security incidents.
- Mentor and guide SOC analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare executive-level reports on security incidents, trends, and risk mitigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in SOC leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with ELK stack or Splunk for SIEM operations.
- Expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and advanced threat detection techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
