Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of cutting-edge EdTech platforms and digital learning solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, product vision, and leadership skills to guide engineering teams in developing scalable, reliable, and engaging educational technology products.
This role demands proficiency across backend, frontend, and cloud ecosystems, along with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes and educational accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable learning platforms, LMS, content management systems, and interactive tools.
- Provide technical mentorship, performance guidance, and career development support to software engineers.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Instructional Designers, and Delivery Teams to translate pedagogical and business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of software releases through effective sprint planning, code reviews, and automation.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and scalable architecture patterns.
- Lead efforts on system integrations with third-party EdTech APIs (LTI, SCORM, xAPI, etc.) and digital content platforms.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and learner engagement.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps, hiring strategies, and continuous process improvements.
Technical Requirements
- Backend: Node.js, Python (FastAPI), RESTful API design, Microservices architecture
- Frontend: ReactJS or AngularJS
- Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Cloud Platforms: AWS / GCP / Azure
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to EdTech standards such as LTI, SCORM, or xAPI preferred
- Knowledge of content streaming, analytics dashboards, and AI-driven personalization in learning platforms is a plus

Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
