Job Description

    As an Assistant Manager, Auto Claims at Genpact, your role involves managing and coaching a team of claims adjusters to ensure efficient processing of claims in compliance with policies and procedures. You will be responsible for setting goals, providing feedback, improving claims handling processes, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. - Managing and coaching a team of claims adjusters, setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations. - Ensuring timely and efficient processing of all claims while adhering to relevant policies and procedures. - Developing and implementing processes to enhance claims handling and improve customer satisfaction. - Monitoring claims trends, identifying areas for improvement, and coordinating with stakeholders to enhance claim handling effectiveness. - Providing regular updates to management on team performance, claims metrics, and trends. - Participating in departmental meetings and training sessions to stay informed about policy changes and new procedures. - Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail to handle claims ethically and in compliance with laws and regulations. - Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, brokers, and vendors. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Relevant experience in handling Auto MD in the US, Europe, India, or LatAm. - Experience leading adjudicating teams of Auto MD in the US, Europe, India, or LatAm. - College Diploma or equivalent work experience. - Fluency in spoken and written English. - Ability to problem solve, create, and update processes for operational efficiency and accuracy. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Thorough understanding of insurance claims best practices. - Strong investigation and analytical skills. - Willingness to work alongside adjusters as needed. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in handling fast track/low touch claims. - Insurance Designation(s). - Lean Six Sigma Certification(s).
