Job Description
- As a Process Developer at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations related to India AP aspects. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding the nuances of India AP aspects and proficiently handling tasks such as India Import Invoices processing by checking Bill of Entry and packing list before posting. - Demonstrating expertise in Tax Deducted at Source, including awareness of the percentage of deduction for major categories and TDS applicable on Service expenses incurred in foreign currency. - Familiarizing yourself with GST components such as Intrastate, Interstate, State & Central along with their respective rates. - Resolving vendor queries and requests in a timely manner within the agreed SLA. - Reviewing and validating essential details of a valid invoice like supplier information, PO, bank account, invoice number, and date. - Maintaining a tracker of exceptions and ensuring balance in invoices/queries based on the exception tracker. - Recording process-related exceptions in exception logs for knowledge retention purposes. - Independently performing transactional tasks to support compliance, planning, and execution of assigned processes. - Following up with requisitions via calls/emails or tickets to resolve hold invoices as per the AP guidelines. - Ensuring adherence to internal compliance policies and guidelines established by the management in daily operational activities. - Conducting daily internal audits to guarantee the balance of all invoices/queries as per the guidelines.
