Job Description

    As a Software Engineer at Tyler Technologies, you will be a part of the Courts and Justice product Development team, where you will contribute to building features and functionality for our cloud-native web applications in a fast-paced and results-driven environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop application functionality based on documented requirements and mockups. - Implement web user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. - Maintain existing application functionality by resolving bugs and operational deficiencies. - Develop RESTful web services. - Write unit tests to ensure code quality. - Participate in architecture design sessions. - Collaborate effectively with an agile development team, maintaining a positive attitude. - Achieve departmental goals and timelines. - Investigate and resolve DevOps issues as required. **Qualifications:** - Excel in a highly collaborative team environment. - Familiarity with Agile development practices. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant work experience. - 1-3 years of software engineering experience with the following technologies: - HTML - CSS - JavaScript - SQL Server 2008+ - C# (.NET 4.0+ or .NETCore) - Preferred additional experience with the following technologies: - Elasticsearch - AngularJS or Angular 2+ or Vue.js - Docker - Entity Framework - AWS (lambda functions, EC2, S3, etc) - Proficient knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and relevant technologies. - Basic understanding of product architecture and underlying technologies. - Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. - Strong interpersonal skills, including communication and teamwork. - Well-developed logical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment. - Attention to detail is a key strength.
