Are you ready to drive meaningful and inclusive employee experiences across UKG in our India locations As the Director, Talent Engagement & Belonging, you will play a pivotal role in bringing both enterprise wide and country-specific strategies to life that advance talent development, belonging, and social impact. This leader will partner closely with the Global Talent Development and Belonging team based in the US as well as the India-based HR leadership team to tailor initiatives to meet the cultural and business context of India. Youll champion programs that uplift our people, build capabilities, support high performance, and strengthen UKGs inclusive culture at scale.Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership:
Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of talent development, engagement, and belonging programs tailored for India, while aligning with global initiatives, strategies and goals.Partnership & Integration:
Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Talent Development, Belonging, and Social Impact teams, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to localize and implement initiatives that reinforce a strong, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.Belonging & Inclusion:
Cultivate a culture of belonging through regional implementation of global programs and creation of local initiatives that resonate with India-based employees. Support and grow Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and community engagement in India.Social Impact:
Partner with the Social Equity, Opportunity and Impact team to lead UKG Indias community and CSR efforts, ensuring programs reflect local needs, align with UKG strategic priorities, and foster employee engagement and brand reputation in the region.Learning & Development:
Identify and address India-specific development needs, including leadership development, career mobility, and capability building. Work with global L&D partners to customize content and methods for regional relevance and impact.Employee Engagement:
Monitor engagement and inclusion metrics from UKG Employee Listening outputs; use insights to co-create meaningful interventions that enhance employee sentiment, retention, and performance.Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and develop a regional team, while working in close collaboration with a global network of talent, belonging, and development professionals. Role model inclusive leadership practices.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field - HR Specialization Masters level degree a plus
15+ years of experience in talent development, employee engagement, DEI, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
Proven experience designing and leading country-specific programs that align with global strategies
Strong cultural awareness and understanding of the Indian business environment and workforce dynamics
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed, global organization
Passionate about inclusion, equity, and employee growth with a proven ability to translate values into actionable strategies
Strong project management, communication, and facilitation skills
Experience in technology or global organizations preferred
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet business needs
