Position: GM Sales
Location: Delhi NCR (with travel to Goa & Himachal)
Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO
Team Size: 57 Sales Managers & Executives


Role Overview :

We are seeking a high-performance General Manager Sales to lead sales and revenue growth for our hotels in Goa & Himachal. The GM Sales will be directly accountable for achieving aggressive sales targets, delivering 15% YoY revenue growth, maintaining 70%+ occupancy, and driving strong MICE, weddings, corporate, and leisure business.


This is a results-first leadership role for a proven sales champion who can motivate teams, capture market share, and outperform competitors.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Deliver minimum 15% year-on-year revenue growth.
  • Ensure 70%+ average occupancy across properties.
  • Increase direct business share by 25% while reducing OTA dependence.
  • Develop segment-focused strategies for MICE, weddings, leisure, and corporate accounts.

MICE, Weddings & Corporate Sales

  • Lead the MICE and destination weddings segment as a revenue growth engine.
  • Secure 2530 new corporate and event planner tie-ups annually.
  • Build long-term partnerships with corporates, DMCs, OTAs, and travel trade.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 57 sales professionals.
  • Assign KPIs and revenue responsibilities to each team member.
  • Conduct weekly reviews and drive accountability.
  • Build a high-performance, target-driven culture.

Market Development & Strategy

  • Drive business from feeder markets (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chandigarh).
  • Launch seasonal/off-season sales campaigns to ensure year-round revenue.
  • Track competitors strategies and adjust proactively.
  • Represent the brand at FHRAI, HRANI, TTAG, and major trade shows.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 15% YoY revenue growth.
  • 70%+ occupancy consistently.
  • 30+ new key accounts added annually.
  • Direct business share at 3540% of total revenue.
  • 100% achievement of quarterly sales targets.

Candidate Profile

  • 1218 years of hospitality sales experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong MICE, weddings, corporate, and leisure network in key feeder markets.
  • Energetic, aggressive, and target-driven leader.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Willing to travel extensively to key markets and properties.
