Job Description
We have urgent opening for the position of Associate/ Senior Associate- Trade Capture for Mumbai and Gurgaon location.
Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent degree
BCom or Equivalent degree with min of 2 years of relevant experience as mentioned below
Relevant Experience :
Associate MBA Fresher or Bachelors with 2- 3 years of work experience.
Experience must be in Investment Banking with exposure to OTC Derivatives (namely Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, Equity / Total Return Swaps, OTC Options etc) by way of Trade Booking, Trade Confirmation processing, Electronic Matching (on DTCC, MatkIt) etc.
All other experience is non-relevant.
Job Responsibilities:
Associate / Senior Associate in the Trade Capture team will be expected to work on some or all the below :
1. Manually book trades from the Clients Recaps, monitor trade booking queues, repair trade kickouts, work on security origination etc
2. Able to understand the calculation of Swap Cashflows, do those calculations, solve issues where the system generated amounts arent correct
3. Work with the Client / OMS service provider to build trade feed connectivity between client & SS&Cs systems. Coordinate with technology & implementations teams to onboard new clients, products
4. Working on Cash and Position breaks coordinating with operations teams, working with the client as may be required to solve breaks
5. Representing the team on client meetings providing updates, discussing issues which may be escalated & bring a logical conclusion
6. Building process documents, keeping them uptodate.
Skills:
a. Fluent in spoken and written English. Can articulate a complex situation in a clear and concise manner
b. Knowledge about Office Suite of products (Mail, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
c. Advanced knowledge about Excel functionality like Formula Writing (if, and functions), Vlookup / Hlookup, Pivot Tables, Charts etc will be an added advantage
