Job Title: Sales Team Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Team Lead to manage a team of 20+ sales professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving team sales targets, coaching team members, driving performance, and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies. This is a key leadership role focused on both performance and people management.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Sales & Performance Management
* Drive the team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track performance at the individual and team level.
* Implement sales strategies and campaigns aligned with company objectives.
* Identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to improve sales tactics.
* Forecast sales and prepare reports for senior management.
* Team Leadership & People Management
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ sales representatives.
* Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
* Set clear objectives, provide feedback, and ensure accountability.
* Foster a high-performance culture with strong focus on results and motivation.
* Manage team schedules, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
* Training & Development
* Provide regular training and skill development sessions for team members.
* Onboard new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the team.
* Encourage continuous learning and growth opportunities.
* Process & Operations
* Ensure compliance with company policies and CRM usage.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Product, and Operations.
* Optimize internal processes to enhance team efficiency and sales outcomes.
*Key Requirements*
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
* 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a team leadership role.
* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
