Job Description
- Deploy and configure AWS resources including EC2 instances, S3 buckets and RDS databases.
- Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure to ensure high performance, availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and applications.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using AWS tools such as CloudFormation, Lambda and IAM.
- Write and maintain scripts in languages like Python or Bash to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Implement security best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption and network security.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards within the AWS environment.
- Analyze and optimize AWS infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance and scalability.
- Work on improving the reliability and efficiency of cloud-based systems and applications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS infrastructure, configurations and operational procedures.
- Generate and analyze reports on system performance, cost management and security audits.
- Collaborate with senior AWS engineers, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design cloud solutions.
- Provide support to internal teams and users for AWS-related inquiries and issues.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in AWS or cloud computing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS and VPC.
- Proficiency in AWS services and tools, including CloudFormation, IAM and Lambda.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, Linux/Windows server administration and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
