Should have in depth knowledge about OSI layers, Switches, Routers, Lan, Firewall

Key Responsibilities:
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VMware NSX, vSphere Distributed Switches, and other network virtualization components.
Design and implement robust virtual networking solutions in alignment with business and security requirements.
Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning of network components.
Handle incidents, change requests, and escalations related to network infrastructure.
Work closely with the infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration between physical and virtual networks.
Maintain accurate network documentation and change logs.
Conduct network assessments, identify potential issues, and propose long-term improvements.
Ensure network security compliance and participate in audits as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience working in a network engineering role with exposure to VMware environments.
CCNA Global Certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
Experience with firewalls, switches, and routers (Cisco preferred).
Hands-on with VMware NSX, vCenter, ESXi, and virtual networking concepts.
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
