Job Location: Nagpur
Position Summary:
The System Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance,
configuration, and troubleshooting of servers and network systems. The role
includes managing the day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure, supporting
the operational needs of the business, and ensuring the security and
efficiency of systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows servers.
- Troubleshoot server and network issues, ensuring system reliability.
- Monitor server health, performance, and system logs.
- Ensure system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Install and configure new systems, applications, and services.
- Collaborate with teams for system upgrades, patches, and updates.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus
software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Document system architecture, procedures, and workflows.
- Assist in network and database administration as required.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in system administration.
- Strong expertise with Windows Server.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory,
Apache.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Experience in security management, firewalls, and system hardening.
- Proficient in system backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
