About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our Linux-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system performance, security, and availability, while supporting development and IT operations teams.
Work Responsibilities
Monitor system performance, availability, and resource usage
Manage users, groups, and permissions
Monitor logs and respond to alerts or incidents
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and IT staff to support applications and deployments
Manage web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Automate tasks using shell scripts, Ansible, or other tools
Skills, Experience & Expertise
Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, etc.)
Hands-on experience with bash scripting and automation tools
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of system security and hardening practices
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Eligibility
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent certification
Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) Preferred.
