DBA(Database Administrator)

Mandatory skills: Oracle DBA(Primary)+ Mongo DBA(Secondary)

Experience:3.5 to 10 Years

Key Responsibilities

Ensures acceptable Oracle database availability and response time by leading problem diagnosis and resolution in a high availability multi-datacenter environment.

Proactively monitor for performance and availability issues to ensure smooth and efficient database operations

Provide timely and effective problem resolution during regular work hours

Configure and install business-critical databases based on business requirements gathered from application development teams and business users.

Ensures compliance with audit, security, and regulatory requirements.

Provide DBA support for complex software installation and maintenance, including major upgrades.

Understanding of and commitment to protecting the integrity, security and privacy of the firm's critical business data.

Support data replication, backup, and availability solutions.

In-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an enterprise Oracle DBA

Experience with database tools, such as: OEM Grid, Toad, Foglight database monitoring tool.

Physical and logical replication, examples include: disk-level replication, Quest Shareplex or Oracle Data Guard

Experience with Database and tuning and database patching a requirement.

Performed Mongo software installation and Standalone DB configuration.

Hands-on experience with

Mongo DB replica Setup.

backup and restoration on MongoDB.

multiple Mongo upgradation activities.

MongoDB DR Test activity.

Switchover and Failover activity on MongoDB.
