Profile: Data Engineer - DBT & Snowflake
Experience: 5-10 years
Location: PAN(Noida, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai)

Overview of the Role:
As a Data Engineer specializing in DBT (Data Build Tool) and Snowflake, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, and optimizing robust data models and transformation pipelines. This role is crucial to enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring the integrity and scalability of data infrastructure within our organization. You will collaborate closely with analytics, business, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that empower business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries (including CTEs) to support data transformation and analytical requirements.
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT workflows for efficient, reliable, and timely data ingestion and processing.
- Collaborate with analytics, business, and engineering stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality data solutions.
- Enforce adherence to data modeling best practices and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization for large-scale datasets.
- (Nice to Have) Integrate pipelines with CI/CD processes for automated deployments.
- (Nice to Have) Develop scripts in Python for advanced data processing and automation.
Skill Requirements:
- Mandatory:
- DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Snowflake
- Advanced SQL (including CTEs)
- ETL/ELT processes
- Nice to Have:
- Python
- CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and database design.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Other Requirements (Optional):
- Experience with cloud data platforms or big data ecosystems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake Snow Pro, DBT certification) are a plus.
