Job Description
Ownership of Oracle EBS, Oracle RAC clusters, working on a variety of development and maintece projects in coordination with project and support teams.Knowledge of all supporting infrastructure components, including operating systems, hardware/storage configurations and networks.
Excellent UNIX skills and a grasp of fundamental computing concepts such as system calls, memory management and program debugging.
Experience in system administration of LINUX, configuring storage arrays networks, disk configuration including multipath, knowledge of networking components such as Infiniband is highly desirable.
Analyze and tune database performance for high-volume, mission-critical applications
Design and implement robust high availability solutions (e.g., EBS Applications, Oracle RAC, Data Guard)
Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls and encryption with industry standards and regulations
Design and implement scalable solutions to accommodate increasing data volumes and user loads
Develop and maintain scripts for routine database administration tasks
Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure situations
Identify and implement best practices for database administration and engineering Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures
Experience in managing and troublshooting network, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 operations
4+ years of database administration experience
Experience in Oracle DB, or experience in networking administration and troubleshooting and experience in any Bigdata architecture
Experience in managing or implementing system health, performance monitoring, capacity planning, or process improvement and automation
Knowledge of SQL, Perl, Unix/Linux, Visual Basic or other programming languages
10+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience Experience leading and influencing your team or organization, or experience managing teams
Experience leading and influencing the data strategy of your team or organization
Experience leading large enterprise transformations with AWS/cloud services
Experience in mentoring junior fice or business team members
