Job Description
Job Title: HR Generalist
Experience: 15+ Years
Salary: 4,50,000 per annum
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned HR Generalist with over 15 years of experience in HR operations and administrative support. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices, and the ability to manage day-to-day HR activities efficiently. This role is critical to ensuring smooth HR and administrative operations while supporting employee engagement and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including Recruitment, on boarding, employee documentation, and exit formalities
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and databases accurately
- Oversee office administration, vendor coordination, and facility management
- Support payroll processing and coordinate with the accounts team for salary disbursements
- Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements (PF, ESI & LWF)
- Handle employee grievances and support resolution with empathy and professionalism
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and internal communications
- Prepare HR-related reports and maintain up-to-date HR metrics
- Support recruitment by scheduling interviews, follow-ups, and joining formalities
- Coordinate with external consultants for audits, compliance, and policy updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in HR operations and administration
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and HRMS systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
- A proactive and positive approach to work with strong problem-solving skills
