Job Description
A Cloud Operations Engineer is a skilled professional responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of cloud-based IT infrastructure and services. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments for organizations.
You Have:
- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech with 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure management.
- Good understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Good understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles.
- Flexible to work as per Oceania Time Zone (Australia, New Zealand and Japan)
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in the development and implementation of cloud security policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
