Role Details:
Architect and Design CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments Infrastructure: Develop and maintain the technical architecture for a CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments platform, including the blockchain or distributed ledger technology, API interfaces, security protocols, and data storage solutions.
Overall Job Description:
- Security and Privacy: Ensure the CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments system is secure against malicious attacks and complies with privacy regulations, utilizing cryptographic protocols and secure coding practices.
- Scalability and Performance: Design a CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments system that can handle a large number of transactions and users efficiently and reliably, considering load balancing, network infrastructure, and database performance.
- Integration with Existing Systems: Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments into existing financial systems, such as payment platforms, banking systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and industry standards.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot system failures, and monitor system performance, ensuring the stability and reliability of the CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments platform.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that the CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments system complies with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection laws, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
- Documentation and Maintenance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments architecture, including diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides.
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with advancements in distributed ledger technology, blockchain security, and other relevant technologies
- Expertise in blockchain technology: Deep understanding of various blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms, and security protocols.
- Strong technical skills: Proficiency in programming languages, database management, and network infrastructure.
Work Experience:
- Experience with distributed ledger technology: Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies like Hyperledger, Corda, or R3.
- Knowledge of payment systems: Understanding traditional payment systems, real-time gross settlement (RTGS), and other financial infrastructure.
- Security expertise: Understanding security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
- Regulatory compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to financial technology and CBDC/UPI/Digital Payments.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in blockchain technology, security, or project management may be an advantage.
