Job Description

Department: R & D Reporting to: CTO (Chief Technical Officer) Role and Responsibilities Absorb & indigenize technology related to coatings / Painting / Lamination of fabrics by interacting with R& D team. Development of new products on time with right quality as per customer requirement. Technical support to Production & QA dept for critical batches through Root cause analysis. To manage the day to day activities of R& D providing guidance, encouraging team work and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. Cost reduction initiatives: Cost reduction in existing products by formula optimization and hunting new and cheaper RMs to replace existing ones. Documentation -Must have experience in ISO documentation. Maintain the required reports for trials and initiatives taken. Maintain relationship with customers, understand their needs and create pipeline projects for customer based on marketing inputs. To identify new. applications, new opportunities and customer pain areas and value selling. Operating knowledge of Spectrophotometer for Color matching. Candidate Profile: Male Age : Around 30 to 35 Years - Experience : 6 - 10 years 1. Must have experience in the following areas : Coated / laminated Technical textile Paint / Coating formulations 2. Knowledge in paint / coating raw materials and Process equipments 3. Experience in paint / coating / fabric testing 4. Having experience with Defence / DRDO institutes is preferable 5.
